Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Snake Grid project (“Snake Grid,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use the Snake Grid mobile game or visit snakegrid.netlify.app.
Who operates Snake Grid
Snake Grid is operated by the Snake Grid project maintainer. For privacy questions or requests, email snakegrid322@gmail.com.
Information we handle
- Game saves and settings. Level progress, game preferences, and similar save data are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to Snake Grid as part of ordinary gameplay. Removing the app or clearing its storage may remove this data.
- Messages you send. If you contact us, we receive the email address and any information you include so we can reply and keep a reasonable record of the request.
- Website delivery data. The website is hosted by Netlify. Its systems may process technical request and security logs, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s font servers.
- Optional wallet or payment actions. If you choose a wallet feature in the game, the compatible wallet handles your private keys and signing. The game may receive your public wallet address, a signing result, or a transaction signature needed to complete the action. Public addresses and confirmed transactions are visible on the Solana network and cannot be removed from its public ledger. We do not ask for or collect seed phrases or private keys.
How we use information
We use information you send to respond to you, local game data to provide save and settings features, and technical information processed by service providers to deliver and protect the website. Wallet information is used only when you choose a wallet-related action, such as connecting or confirming a transaction.
Legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the steps needed to provide a feature you request, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and securing the service, and your consent where consent is required. You can stop using optional wallet features at any time. Local game saves remain on your device until you remove them.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by providers needed to operate the service, including Netlify for website hosting, Google for font delivery, and a wallet provider, Solana RPC provider, or payment service when you choose a wallet or payment feature. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Solana transactions are public network records.
International processing
Some service providers may process technical or transaction-related information outside your country or the European Economic Area. Please review the relevant provider’s privacy notice for details of its processing and safeguards.
Retention and security
Game saves stay on your device until you delete the app data or uninstall the app. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and related records. Hosting providers set retention periods for their technical logs. Public blockchain records may remain indefinitely. We use reasonable measures to protect information we control, but no online service or network can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email snakegrid322@gmail.com to make a request. These rights do not apply to information that is not personal data or to public blockchain records that we cannot change.
If you are in Romania, you may also complain to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
Children
Snake Grid does not require an account and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Wallet and payment features should only be used by people legally able to authorize the transaction, or with the required parent or guardian involvement.
